Let me just say—the title A Journey to Us couldn’t be more fitting. This book truly takes you on a journey. At the heart of it are Daniel and Jasmine: two successful, elegant people who couldn’t be more different in how they express themselves.

Daniel is your classic bachelor—handsome, confident, and used to attention. Jasmine, on the other hand, is refined, poised, and incredibly reserved. She enjoys the finer things in life and keeps her walls high. Their worlds collide in the most unexpected way, and from there begins a very slow burn romance.

I’ll be honest, I almost DNF’d this one. Jasmine felt too closed off, and Daniel had these alpha-male moments where I thought he was finally going to bring the heat—but he never quite got there. For the first half, it felt a bit flat.

But then… halfway through, the shift was real. Lady B found her stride, and the writing started to flow beautifully. The story deepened, emotions hit harder, and I was completely pulled into their journey. What started as a three-star read ended up being a solid four stars for me.

If you’re thinking of picking this one up, I recommend bringing tissues and settling in for a slow, emotional burn. It’s a story about patience, growth, and letting love in—even when it doesn’t come easy.
