Okay, fellow book lovers, don’t come for me—but I have a confession to make.

I have never read an Emily Henry book.

I know, I know. Gasp. How can I even call myself a romance reader if I haven’t dived into the magical, swoon-worthy worlds she’s created? It feels like every time I scroll through Bookstagram or BookTok, someone is raving about Beach Read, People We Meet on Vacation, or Book Lovers. And yet… here I am. Emily-Henry-less.

But fear not! I’m about to change that.

Once I finish devouring City of Gods and Monsters (which, let’s be real, has totally consumed my soul in the best way), I’m finally going to pick up Funny Story by Emily Henry. It’s been sitting on my TBR just waiting for the right moment—and I think that moment is finally here.

So, consider this my official initiation into the Emily Henry fan club. I’m ready for the butterflies, the banter, the chemistry, and all the feels. If you’ve read Funny Story (or any of her books), let me know your thoughts! No spoilers, though—just vibes.
